Advanced Yogasanas Training

Advanced yogasana training builds on the 12 basic postures with deeper variations. Examples are full shoulderstand, scorpion and peacock. It is not about flexibility for its own sake. It is about refining alignment and body awareness at a deep level, and learning to breathe calmly in challenging positions. Progress is structured, patient and safe.

What this class covers

The real purpose of advanced asana

Some people can place a foot behind the head in their first class, while others practise for years without it, and both are fine. We take on difficult postures because a challenge met with steady breath trains the mind. If you succeed, you move on. If not, you learn to be at ease with that, and the process is as valuable as the result.
